Author and photographer Mary Crehore Bedell (1870-1936) with traveling companions at Yellowstone National Park in 1922. Their vehicle bears a number of park stickers on the windshield along with a AAA Motor Club emblem on the grill. Bedell wrote the book, "Modern Gypsies: The Story of a Twelve Thousand Mile Motor Camping Trip Encircling the United States" which was published in 1924.
