S. Abell Company from June 21, 1904. toApril 19, 1909, is the youngest son of the late Edwin Franklinand Margaret (Curley) Abell, and a grandson of A. S. Abell,founder of The Sun. He was born February 28, 1872, at Lit-terluna, a family country estate near Pikesville, Baltimorecounty, Maryland, and was educated in private schools and atGeorgetown University.
