Resident of a camp for internally displaced persons in the Al-Bayad town in Eastern Ghouta. The camp's approximate 400 residents have been displaced from different areas in eastern Ghouta as a result of the fighting between opposition rebels groups and the Syrian regime in the Damascus' suburb. Their situation has been worsened by the harsh winter conditions. Eastern Ghouta is one of the last remaining rebel strongholds in Syria. It has been under siege by the Syrian regime forces since mid-2013 and has witnessed intense bombardments by the Syrian regime over the last few weeks
