Frontal carinae very short; their lobes little dilated and flat; the narrow frontal depression extending less than half the distance to occipital border. Antennae long and slender; scapes surpassing occipital corners by a distance equal to twice their breadth at apex; first and second funicular joints subequal, three times longer thfin broad; third joint shorter than second and proportionally broader, joints 4-10 longer than broad, subequal in length but increasing in thickness toward apex; terminal joint barely as long as the two preceding joints together. Eyes small, very flat, situated in front of sides of head at a distance of three times their diameter from base of mandibles. Epinotum in profile as long as prothorax, depressed at middle, with a narrow, transverse impression slightly posterior to spiracles; angle between base and declivity broadly rounded and strongly longitudinally impressed at middle, the sides standing out as rounded margins; declivity flat. Petiole squamiform, twice as high as long, narrowly rounded above; anteiior surface convex, posterior flat; sub- marginate above and at sides of posterior border. Gaster long and slender.
