PACIFIC OCEAN (May 12, 2017) MV-22B Osprey, assigned to the Ridge Runners of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 163 (Reinforced), fly to Camp Pendleton, Calif., as the amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) is anchored during an aircraft and equipment offload. Somerset, a part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, with the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is returning to San Diego from a seven-month deployment to the 3rd, 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operation.
