SILVERDALE, Wash. (Dec. 5, 2022) Ed Ingles, executive director of Trident Refit Facility Bangor (TRFB), tours the Information Technology Submarine Repair Shop during a gemba at TRFB. TRFB’s core mission is repairing, incrementally overhauling, and modernizing the Pacific Fleet’s ballistic missile submarine force. Each week TRFB leadership personnel visits a different production area of the facility for a first-hand look, referred to as a “gemba”.
