Alex Smelcer, 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron flight crew chief, marshals a C-130J Super Hercules aircraft onto the flightline during exercise Agile Spirit 21 at Alekseevka Air Base, Georgia, July 26, 2021. Smelcer played several roles during the exercise which included inspecting, fixing and preparing all Air Force air assets before and after the flight. Agile Spirit 2021 is a joint, multinational exercise co-led by the Georgian Defense Forces and Army Europe and Africa.
