No fear need be entertained with regard to the strength of these boxes, for we have personally tested the point by standing on one, and a weight of twelve stone made no impression whatever. The main trouble in sending sections by post is caused by bee-keepers forwarding those obviously unsuitable for transit; and to obviate this trouble a small printed label is fixed in every box, which reads thus : "Only those sections with combs attached to the wood on all four sides are safe for conveyance by parcels ; Any one ignoring this precau-.
