A wounded North Vietnamese Army soldier receiving treatment from a Marine Corps medic attached to I Company, 3rd Battalion, 26th Marines. This occurred on December 21, 1966 during Operation CHINOOK in the Co Bi Thanh Tan Province of Vietnam. The Marines encountered and accounted for 54 dead and wounded enemy soldiers that day.
