The small light purple flowers of the Field Thistle, Cirsium Arverse, being pollinated by a honey Bee in the marshlands of Northern Kent. The Field Thistle, also known as the Creeping Thistle is native to Britain were it is of high ecological importance as a food source for various birds and butterfly larvae, as well as being one of the main producers of nectar sugar for pollinators. Worldwide it has though become one of the worst invasive weeds
