The four Bristol Jupiter engines of the Imperial Airways liner 'Scylla', c1936 (c1937). Imperial Airways was an early British commercial long distance air travel company, operating from 1924 to 1939. 'Scylla' was a Short L17 Scylla airliner that operated between 1934 and 1940. The Bristol Jupiter was a British nine-cylinder single-row piston radial engine built by the Bristol Aeroplane Company.
