(From the Presbyterian C. E. Manual.) June 25.—Spiritual growth.—Mark 4: 26-32. TOPIC THOUGHTS. We do not leap into perfection; wegrow in spirituality year by year. Spiritual growth is growth in favorwith God. Increase in self-esteem is not spirit-ual growth. Censoriousness is not spirituality. When we most love Jesus and hisbrethren we are most spiritual. Like a flower, tbe soul grows best inthe light. For growth we must keepclose to Christ. The spirit of fault-finding is not afruit of growth. Souls grow best in the soil of prayerand Scripture study. Without the watering of the Spiritthere is no growth. July 2.—Our country for Christ.—Psa. 33: 10-22. TOPIC THOUGHTS. Our country cannot be for Christuntil we are for Christ.
