If you're looking for kangaroos, koalas, foxes and special exotic flora, I will recommend visiting Australia. But, if you don't feel like flying all the way there, you have a great alternative here in Israel: the Gan Guru – a piece of Australia here in Israel. In the Gan Guru you can see the most beautiful animals on earth: unique birds, cuddly koalas, kangaroos, foxes and more. You can walk close to them, feed them and even pet them under supervision. If the animals aren't enough, you can also visit the mazes. There are seven huge mazes near the Gan Guru. The big mazes include green planets, special mirrors and ancient stories from all over the world. I was at the Gan Guru about four times, and I love this place very much. It's exciting to see rare animals that I wouldn't get to see otherwise. It's exciting to walk around and appreciate the huge trees, and it's great to know that these amazing animals are right here in Israel. A kangaroo is a marsupial from the family Macropodidae (macropods, meaning 'large foot'). In common use the term is used to describe the largest species from this family, especially those of the genus Macropus, Red Kangaroo, Antilopine Kangaroo, Eastern Grey Kangaroo and Western Grey Kangaroo.[1] Kangaroos are endemic to the continent of Australia. The smaller macropods are found in Australia and New Guinea. Larger kangaroos have adapted much better to changes brought to the Australian landscape by humans and though many of their smaller cousins are endangered, they are plentiful.
