A Combination Snowplow for City andInterurban Use Washington Water Power Company Has Built aPlow Which Is Suitable for City andInterurban Snow Fighting BY R. A. A snowplow to be used on the city and interurbanlines of Spokane, Wash., has recently been built by theWashington Water Power Company. Inside a city, inclearing double tracks of snow it is desirable to use ashear plow which throws the snow to only one side ofthe car. On interurban lines, however, the snow oftenforms heavy drifts which the shear plow cannot clearoff, and it is necessary to use a plow with a sharp nosewhich cuts through the snow and throws it to both plow described below combines both kinds of blademounted on the same frame. This frame is built of heavy structural steel, as maybe seen from the illustration, the side sills, for example,being 8 in. x 8 in. channel bars. The width of the frameas shown
