Clogg Calendar; a perpetual calendar in use in Staffordshire; England; in the early 18th century; supposedly a survival of Danish influence. It took the form of square stick; each side with notches for 3 months of the year; every seventh notch was larger and represented Sunday. Various symbols against the notches represented the Moon and Golden number; etc. From John Harris Lexicon Techicum; fifth edition; London; 1736.
