Wooden footbridge over burn near the disused iron mine at the Lecht at the foot of the Scottish Mountain Carn Mor a Corbett

Set in the hills at the foot of the Lecht are the remains of a now disused iron manganese mine dating from the 18 to 19th century. The most prominent feature of the mining landscape is the remains of the crushing mill building. A Corbett is a Scottish Mountain between 2500ft (762m) and 3000ft (914m) with a drop of at least 500ft () of which they are 220 and take there name from John Rooke Corbett who first classified them.
