Designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and completed in 2012, the Margaret Hunt Hill bridge is illuminated at night and provides dramatic views of the Dallas skyline. This is the first of two Dallas bridges designed by the architect, the I-30 Margaret McDermott bridge due to be completed in 2017 can be seen just to the south also crossing the Trinity River.
