Yellowed skin in jaundice caused by hepatic metastases (cancer which has spread to the liver) from linitis plastica (stomach cancer). The patient is a 76 year old man. The yellowing symptoms of jaundice are caused by an excess of bilirubin, a bile pigment, in the blood. Jaundice is the chief sign of many disorders of the liver.
