London, UK. 11 April 2015. Members of the Bhangra / Giddha dance group entertain the large crowds who visited City Hall to celebrate Vaisakhi. The event, organised by the Mayor of London, features music and traditional dance, turban tying, food, children's activities, films, talks and an exhibition. Being the most important day in the Sikh calendar, Vaisakhi commemorates the beginning of Sikhism as a collective faith, and is celebrated by more than 126,000 Sikhs who live in the Capital, as well as 20 million people worldwide.
