The aplitehas more the character of a differentiation of the diabase than a clearly denned the other exposure where silver was seen there is a grey aplite, along one perpen-dicular surface of which there is native silver in dendritic form. A similar occurrence was noted on the Bradley location (S. y2, lot 5, con. IV) whichis on the west shore of Lepha lake. The locality is easily reached from the Montreal river.
