Two soldiers carrying Anti-tank weapons, to the left Carl Gustav M4 and to right NLAW. The soldiers are apart of the battalion that is a combined Swedish and Finnish unit. The Swedish soldier is a professional soldier and the Finnish soldier is a conscript. During the exercise Trident Juncture 18, they will work side by side. Trident Juncture 2018 is NATO’s largest exercise in many years, bringing together around 50,000 personnel from all 29 Allies, plus partners Finland and Sweden. Around 65 vessels, 250 aircraft and 10,000 vehicles will participate.
