The brown orrose-red liquid thus obtained is preserved in sterilized ves-sels. This extract is injected per rectum In doses of 60gm. (2 ff. ounces), after irrigating the Intestine with luke-warm water, and warming the extract to the temperatureof the body on a waterbath. (Apoth. Ztg.) Januaiv 18, 1900.
