Per pkt. 10 cts.; 3 pkts. for 25 cts. NEW GIANT-FLOWERED RED MIGNONETTE. For years we have carefully tested all the new varieties of Mignonette that have been intro- duced, but until this season have never found any that could equal the pure Machet and Erfurt Mignonette. Beside our own trials we have repeatedly inspected the gardens of European growers, and the past summer in Germany secured the variety which we now ofier as un- doubtedly the largest and most showy Mignonette in culUvaiion. It is the result of many years^ careful selection from the Machet, from which it is entirely distinct, not only on account of more vigorous growth, larger flower spikes, but also in its distinct bright red oolor. The plants are of pyramidal form and elegant appearance. Although compact in habit, it is of vigorous growth, attaining the height of 12 to 16 inches, and very abundant in bloom ; the flower spikes are of enormous size, entirely unequalled by any other variety, and the single blossoms are of an intense bright red color. Those who are familiar with the gray-colored Machet Mignonette and its fine flowers, will welcome this distinct NEW GIANT RED, when they consider that it is much larger in size of flower spikes, larger in individual flowers and entirely free from gray ones, being uni- formly the brightest red.
