Gilt statue by William Boyle called The Golden Boys. Boulton 1728-1809. Watt 1736-1819. Murdock 1754-1839. It is the bicentenary of Matthew Boulton's death. The city of Birmingham are holding various celebrations of his life during the year. The statue is being photographed by two Chinese students studying at the University of Birmingham, wo allowed me to photograph them.
