The clubs of the anthocodia are much more slender. They have a more abruptly enlarged distal end, while the proximal part is slender. The enlarged part is covered with smaller spinules and more slender and shorter thorns; the slender part is closely covered with small acute warts and spinules. The spindles are more slender and have smaller more regular, and much more numerous spinules. are 4 mm. long, 2 mm. wide. It seems to be much like D. gronlandica Molander,âperhaps the same. It was fi-om off Newfoundland, in 1,267 meters. JNIolander considers it a form of D. flarescens. Duva Koren and Dani elssen. Type D. rosea Kor. and Dan.
