Renown strategist prof. Edward Luttwak (left) and Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Yaalon, former Israeli army's Chief of Staff and currently Israel's defense minister. Both Participated in the December 2008 Conference of the Adelson Institute for Strategic Studies, “Twenty First Century Wars: Counterinsurgency and the Challenge of Global Terrorism.” More than two hundred members of the military, judiciary, media and political establishment attended the conference. Attendees included Lt. Col.
