On the top,within a depressed central medallion, the red crow and thesigns of the zodiac, in light relief, with bosses and a hatchborder; the medallion surrounded by a narrow point border anda wide band of bold scroll. Dark patina and thick, grayish-green incrustations. Diameter, 6% inches. 112—Bronze C.\mee-beli> Ovoidal, somewhat flattened, outlined in half-round ridges, whichare further used as boundaries near the top for four small sec-tions or panels in form of a band, two holding four bosses andtwo three bosses each. Short quadrangular neck witli cross-barand chain for suspension. Rich, unctuous, thick patina of oliveand malachite notes, with somber mottlings. Carved frame-stand. Height. 7 inches: trifli stand, H 113—UxKiUE Ceremoniai, Bronze Cup with Spout {Hon) On three short nionster-Iegs. Low, sliallow, palmate form, theleaf-tip extended to form the spout. Incised scroll-fret bandbeneatli the lip, from it depending palmate medallions with in-cised scroll decoration. Under the spout two archaic dragonssurmounting the ogre face. The legs are small monsters withhuman form and bird head, supporting the cup as form and medallions alike carry out and suggest the mon-sters bird head. Dark olive, brown, light green and mottledpatina with iron-rust incrustation.
