Tbese cases are commonly due to iiifection bj pathogenicspecies of aspergiUus, and A. riiger. Aspergillosis of the hmgs may be confased with tuberculosis, since ifc is ushered in with the formation of tubercles. However, protection against stich an error is afforded by an examination ofthe bronchial glands (they aie intact in infection by mold fungi),and by a microscopic study.
