Members of the Air Force Honor Guard fold the American flag during retired Chief Master Sgt. Paul Kerchum’s interment ceremony at Southern Arizona Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Sierra Vista, Ariz., Jan. 25, 2023. Kerchum died Dec. 17, 2022, and was laid to rest with full military honors on what would have been his 103rd birthday. He was a World War II POW and the last survivor of the 65-mile Bataan Death March in the Philippine Islands.
