Fort Myers, Fla., native, Col. Todd A. Heussner, commander, 43rd Sustainment Brigade - Central Command Materiel Recovery Element praises the performance of the CMRE's military service members and civilians during an Oct. 29 transfer of authority ceremony at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. After a nine-month deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Heussner's Soldiers are returning home to Fort Carson, Colo. while their counterparts in the Fort Bragg, - based 82nd SB take on the mission as the CMRE headquarters.
