Rollright Stones, Nr Long Compton, Oxfordshire / Warwickshire, UK. 1st May 2018. Members of the Owlswick Morris side entertain spectators at sunrise with traditional dancing at the historic Rollright Stones to celebrate the 1st May. The Rollright Stones is a complex comprising of three Neolithic and Bronze Age megalithic monuments near the village of Long Compton, on the borders of Oxfordshire and Warwickshire. Made from local oolitic limestone, the three monuments now known as the King's Men and the Whispering Knights in Oxfordshire and the King Stone in Warwickshire, were built at separate periods in late prehistory. / Members of the Owlswick Morris side watch as the sun rises above the horizon.
