NEW YORK, NEW YORK – APRIL 24: Police investigate the suicide of FDNY EMT John Mondello presumably because of work load and being overwhelmed by the coronavirus pandemic on April 24, 2020 in New York City. His body was found around 6:48 in the evening at Shore Boulevard in Astoria on the river shoreline. Neighbors living close by claimed they heard a gunshot around 1 in the afternoon and saw a white male wearing a red sweater with an apparent gunshot to his head on the ground facing up with the gun on his chest.
