A 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) Soldier receives a Bronze Star from Group Commander, Col. Will Beaupere at the McChord Theater on Dec. 5. Soldiers from bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st SFG (A) received 1 Bronze Star with Valor, 96 Bronze Star Medals and 20 Army Commendation Medals during a deployment to southern Afghanistan from May to October 2017.
