("Ingolf" St. 78). The species is new to the area; the specimen recorded from Northern Strcimfjord in W. Greenland (K. Stephensen, Meddel. 0111 Gronl. vol. 51, 1913, p. 66) is in reality another species (M. nordmanni n. sp., see below). Distribution. : Christianssund, abt. 115—150 m. (G. O. Sars ; type-locality). - Nordenskiold Sea off the Chatanga Bay: 75°38' N., 11411' E., 19 m., gravel and grey sand (Bruggen, Mem. Acad. Sci. , Phys. Math., vol. 18, no. 16, p. 22, 1909). ?189.
