MOKPO, Republic of Korea (Nov. 8, 2016) Rear Adm. Brad Cooper, the commander of Naval Forces Korea (CNFK) speaks with Republic of Korea (ROK) Rear. Adm. Lee, Seong-Hwan, the commander of ROK 3rd Fleet, during a visit to ROK 3rd Fleet headquarters. CNFK is the Navy's representative in the ROK, providing leadership and expertise in naval matters to improve institutional and operational effectiveness between the two navies and to strengthen collective security efforts in Korea and the region.
