This Corn was originally obtained by the Wisconsin Experiment Station from Northern Iowa, and by a careful selection of the best and earliest ears we now have a White Dent Corn with large ears, small cob and deep kernels, that is suited to our Wisconsin conditions. The ears of this Corn average 8 to 9 inches in length, and are always well filled out to the tips. As a yielder it has no superior. A few years ago the Wisconsin Station reported a yield of 75 bushels per acre, and since then yields of over 90 bushels have been reported. These are remarkable yields when taking into consideration that the aver- age crop of Corn in Wisconsin is only about 35 bushels per acre.
