Wolfsschanze, Hitler's Wolf's Lair Eastern Front military headquarters, eastern Poland
The Wolfsschanze or Wolf's Lair was Adolf Hitler's Eastern front military headquarters. The building contained the offices of Hitler's large team of stenographers, whose job was to record all conversations with generals to ensure they obeyed him to the letter.
