(Amzi Clarence) Dixon (1854-1925) was a Baptist pastor and evangelist, popular during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He, along with Torrey, edited an influential series of essays, published as The Fundamentals (1910–15), which gave fundamentalist Christianity its name. Dixon pastored a number of churches including Moody Church in Chicago and The Metropolitan Tabernacle in London, formerly pastored by Spurgeon.
