Here is one of them in an Italian Red Cross hospital near Bari. She is 18 years of age, her name is Keenlka Kovacic, and she was machine gunned whilst participating in an attack on a German fort at Klis. The fort had been surrounded by the patriots and German planes had dropped supplies to the beseiged German garrison, some of the enemy escaped by tunnelling their way out but a total bag of 70 prisoners finally fell into the hands of the patriots. In the fighting this girl sustained bullet wounds in the wrist and leg. She is now rapidly recovering and wants to return as soon as possible to Jugoslavis to rejoin in the fighting. She is seen in this Italian Red Cross hospital with an Italian doctor, who had come over to the patriots in He had, for a long time been secretly sending medical supplies to the patriots, whilst he was a member of the Italian Army Medical Corp and he finally deserted to join the patriots.
