Heis a skillful and energetic business man, aswell as an all-around railroad man, faithfulin all his efforts. He is respected by ourofficials and employes ahke. Our town has received an up-to-date firetruck costing $12,500. Daily drills takeplace under the direction of our Mayor, Shaffer, and experienced fire fighters fromthe Baltimore and Ohio. Mr. Shaffer de-serves great credit for his efforts in tryingto put Brunswick on the map as a town. He. Thomas L. Cooper, East Side bandmaster andtoolroom attendant, with his bashful littlegranddaughter, Ethel mixes with the men and is a hard and con-scientious worker. A picture of the firetruck will appear in our Magazine in thenear future. Our town is badly in need of a reader of our Magazine who can sendin any suggestions concerning such an enter-prise will be heartily thanked. Addressall communications to our Mayor and CityCouncil. The Cowboy Band of Brunswick, Md.,has been legally organized with the follow-ing line-up: C. W. Sigafoose, president; Haller, secretarj and treasurer; R. , captain; C. O. Cooper, 35 men are in the outfit, mostly allBaltimore and Ohio employes. One of the best conductors on the Balti-more and Ohio System is Joe Cage,westbound yard.
