A police officer re-holsters his firearm after he approached a man who had shot himself dead at the United States Capitol Complex in Washington DC. The suicide triggered a security lock-down and a bomb squad investigation. The DC Metropolitan Police department later identified the suicide victim as Leo P. Thornton of Lincolnwood, Illinois, USA. The victim had a social justice sign taped to his hand.
