The contest might havekept on indefinitely, as neither showed any lack ofform, but they called a halt and divided the purse. In a special at eight live birds, Boone Epperson,the popular Red Bluff trap shooter, succeeded inbeating a field of six experts, including Hicks of Los in in 12 12 10 10 in lr 9 H 11 11 III 111 II 11 II) 10 U 9 III III 12 IS! 11 11. Seaver third. The Kimball-Upson trophy, event No. 8, was tiedfor by Humble and Jones on a score of 19. In tbesecond shoot-off Humble won out bv a score of 16 to12. The first prize in the merchandise event, No. 7, wascaptured by M. E. Phillips who broke 20 straight.
