During the period of twenty or twenty-five years ago such men asE. O. Morgan, William Alderman, William Shiver, Readding Parker,R. B. Savage, A. E. Godwin, Walker Bros , and others made muchmoney raising native cattle on native grasses. At that time noattention whatever was paid to blooded cattle, and there were nopastures enclosed, as it was not necessary. The range was all open,free to be used by anyone who had a few cattle.
