SAN DIEGO (April 24, 2016) Capt. Craig Clapperton, commanding officer of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), reenlists six Sailors on the field at Petco Park, home field of the San Diego Padres during Petco Park’s Theodore Roosevelt Day. Theodore Roosevelt is currently homeported in San Diego awaiting a regularly scheduled maintenance period.
