Produced by artist Andy Sharrocks who intended to remain unidentified. The first figure of Salty Sam was vandalized in the summer of 2016 after which the installation was repaired and extended to include a second figure Seaweed Sally. The work is solidly made with driftwood nailed and screwed in place but is unlikely to survive winter storms as it sits just above the high tide level
