A 934th Airlift Wing C-130 released airdrop pallets during training at the Badger Drop Zone July 24-25, at Fort McCoy, Wis. The Airmen trained from the air, as well as the ground. 27th Aerial Port Squadron Staff Sgt. David Hambly and Senior Airman Luke Miller work to retrieve a dropped pallet with an all-terrain forklift driven by Senior Airman Andrea Garton. The wing’s mission is to fly C-130H3 cargo aircraft, both airdropping and airlanding cargo and people. The 934th regularly uses Fort McCoy drop zones for airdrop operations to prepare aircrews for real-world operations.
