Located in the historic castle district, the Rue de la Boucherie (La Bocharia in Occitan) is one of the most picturesque streets of Limoges , characterized by small half-timbered buildings. 130 meters long, it connects the Place de la Motte at Vine Street-de-Fer via the Place de la Chapelle Saint-Aurélien . It owes its name to the many butchers shops that once existed and that made his reputation and that since the Middle Ages .
