Our treadle-room was worthy of mention, as itaccompHshed very satisfactory results in cases ofhmited flexion and extension. The jig saws of thelever and fulcrum pattern were very good for anklecases of limited flexion, and the larger jig saws of thependulum type provided excellent exercise for the kneecases. There was also a foot treadle wood-turninglathe, that was of the platform treadle type, requiringthe patient to stand up to operate it.
