Friedrich II of Prussia (1712 - 1786) - a snuff box, Berlin, circa 1760 Copper, coloured enamel, partially gilt, size 8 x 6 x 4 cm. On the exterior of the lid around the monogram "FR" in the star below the crown the names and dates of victorious battles from Kesselsdorf to Prague. On the interior of the lid the miniature of a warrior with cannon and ornaments, eagle with the motto "Victoria, der Sieg ist da" at top. The side surfaces depict trophies of war and the monogram "FR". The interior with later attribution "commissioned by Friedrich II, K, Additional-Rights-Clearance-Info-Not-Available
