Dambulla caves in Sri Lanka
The caves history is thought to date back to around the 1st century BC when king Valagam Bahu driven out of Anuradhapura took refuge here When he regained his throne he converted the caves into a rock temple there are 5 separate caves containing 150 Buddha images
